Baking Potatoes: These potatoes are great for a quick easy dish the jacket potato. It is also a good potato for chips. All baking potatoes are washed.

Cara Potato: With its distinct bright white flesh and its deep red eye, the Cara potato is unmistakable. An excellent all rounder which has remained a firm favourite throughout the years with many of our customers. This potato is so versatile that chipping, mashing, roasting and baking can be done with ease.

Desiree Red Potato: Known as the common red potato. The Desiree has a yellow coloured flesh and is firm in texture. A favourite with the family and staff alike, the Desiree makes great roast potatoes and mash. It is ideal to accompany your Sunday Roast.

Maris Piper Potato: Widely known as the chipping potato, Maris Piper is used in many fish and chip restaurants up and down the country. Although chips are what is associated with this potato it also makes fantastic roast potatoes as it absorbs less fat than most other potatoes.

Mozart Red Potato: A relatively new variety of potato that is on par with the Desiree. It is already a favourite with many of our customers and also with the family. Compared to the Desiree the flesh is much whiter in appearance and the red flesh tends to be brighter. The Mozart potato is classed as an all rounder it is great for all tasks from chipping to mash.

Salad Potatoes: These are a mid-season potato and are ideal to accompany any salad. This little potato is also versatile as it can simply be cut in half and roasted. Try making a potato salad or slicing it up and tossing it in for the classic bubble and squeak dish.

Sweet Potatoes: Grown in a much warmer climate than that in the UK. The sweet potato makes a good alternative to the more conventional potato. Great for Chipping, Roasting and mashing this potato with is orange coloured flesh can be used to brighten up any ones dinner plate. And if you're feeling a little more adventures then the sweet potato can be made into a soup or even into a pie.
